Transfer to Dar Es Salaam airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma at 09:30 am. Arrive at Kigoma airport at approximately 11:40. Pick up on arrival and transfer to Kibirizi port for your boat to Gombe (3-hour boat trip). Pick up on arrival and transfer to the camp for hot lunches. Afterwards, proceed for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Gombe Stream’s main attraction is the chimpanzee families that live protected within the park’s boundaries. Visitors take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with the extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Apart from chimpanzees, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests. Vel vet and colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs, and dik dik inhabit the dense forest, and a wide variety of tropical birdlife. (Kasekela Luxury tented camp)
By 08h30, Start Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Apart from chimpanzees, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests. At mid-morning, continue with a forest walk to see another attraction like Kikumba Falls or Makanga Falls and climb to Jane Peak for an unforgettable view of the park looking like the green of Gombe Forest. Then at the afternoon we will bw having some Lunch. After lunch, we will be heading back to the national park entrance, where our boat will be waiting for transfer back to Kigoma. Once arrive in Kigoma, you can take an afternoon flight back to Dar es Salaam or spend an additional night in Kigoma before departure. Tanzania Hakuna Matata
