Overview
2 days Tarangire safaris from Zanzibar is a perfect safari experience as you combine the Zanzibar beaches and wilderness of Tarangire National Park.
You will fly out from Zanzibar airport around morning time, and get a chance to visit one of the famous parks in Tanzania Tarangire National Park in other names known as the home of giants (baobabs and herd of elephants). You will also be able to spot several wild animals once you enter the entrance gate of the park such as a troop of baboons etc.
DAY 1 – ZANZIBAR – ARUSHA – TARANGIRE
You’ll be transferred from your hotel or lodge in Zanzibar and driven to Zanzibar airport for departure on your way to Arusha.
Upon touch-down the Arusha airport, you will meet our professional safari driver who will transfer you straight to the Tarangire National Park. On your way to Tarangire you experience a different atmosphere as the adventure just begins, don’t hesitate to ask any questions as our safari guides are well knowledgeable about the scenery of the national parks within Tanzania.
On this day you will have your lunch in the picnic area and after game viewing, you will be driven to the lodge / tented camp overnight.
Your safari driver will brief you about the next day’s activities.
DAY 2 – TARANGIRE – ARUSHA – ZANZIBAR
After morning breakfast, you will be picked up by a safari driver with your packed luggage alongside your packed lunch in lunch boxes and start with the morning game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire National Park is also a famous park for bird watching, it’s consisted of around 550 birds. As well as you will spot predators such as leopard, lion, spotted hyena, wild dogs without forgetting other wild animals such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog etc.
After bush lunch, you will start your journey to depart Tarangire National Park and drive back to Arusha for the departure.
