Overview
New life begins from the southern part of Serengeti National Park as approximately more than 8000 wildebeest calves born in the same day. It’s a difficult journey for them to survive as predators are whelming around to see if they can get a meal from the laziest calves.
DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and driven straight away to Tarangire National Park (Home of Giants) where you will be able to spot several wild animals such as herd of elephants, troop of baboons, lion prides, leopard, warthog, zebra, wildebeest, herd of African cape buffalos etc.
You will have your lunch in a picnic area inside the park and then continue with the game drive. After a full day of game drive, you will transfer to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight as well as preparation for the next day activities.
DAY 2: KARATU – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (NDUTU REGION)
After early morning breakfast, your journey will begin as you will be driven towards the Ndutu region of Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Serengeti National Park.
On your way, you will see the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro crater and you may be lucky to spot African cape buffalos, troop of baboons, elephants etc. It will take one hour of half hour to reach at Ndutu area, so you will have an option to break up within two activities: A visitation to Olduvai Gorge Museum or Maasai Boma.
After a game drive you will driven to the accommodations for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: NDUTU REGION – FULL GAME DRIVE
You’ll opt to wake up early so that you can experience sunrise game viewing within the park. You might have a chance to spot predators such as cheetah, lion, leopard, wild dogs, spotted hyena in action.
After morning game drive, you will return to the lodge or tented camp for the breakfast and then continue to explore the scenery of Ndutu.
After your full day exploration of Ndutu, you’ll driven back to the lodge or tented camp for overnight.
DAY 4: NDUTU REGION – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA – ARUSHA
After morning breakfast, you will start you journey to Ngorongoro crater where you will be able to spot the all big five wild animals with ease. As well as having lunch in a picnic area while enjoying the magnificent view of the Ngorongoro landscape.
After a game drive, you will be driven back to Arusha for departure or overnight.
