Arrival


On arrival at Dar es salaam airport either from Zanzibar, arusha or any country. You will be picked up at the airport by Tiem Tours guide who will brief you how the tour will be and drive you to a hotel in Dar es salaam.


DAY 1: Dar es salaam – Bagamoyo


After breakfast you will be picked from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to the historic coastal town of Bagamoyo the original capital of German East Africa and one of the first and important trading ports along the coastline of Tanzania. The town is abundant with historical monuments comprising of old Arab and Portuguese architecture further complimented by a wonderful stretch of beach.

DAY 2:  Bagamoyo


After early breakfast and indulge yourself in various activities from walking around the town exploring old ruins you also get time to relax on the beach and enjoy the sun and sand.

DAY3:  Bagamoyo – Kilwa


After breakfast, set off for Kilwa with packed lunch. Kilwa comprises of Kilwa Kivinje, Kilwa Masoko and Kilwa Kisiwani (island). During medieval times, Kilwa was once a thriving trading town in international trade in gold and commodities therefore it is very rich in history, culture and architecture. Presently, it is a well-known area for game fishing.

DAY 4:  Kilwa


Exploring the area and enjoy various activities provided by the lodge like game fishing.

DAY 5: Kilwa – Dar es salaam


After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch. Early in the afternoon, arrive in Dar es salaam and drop off at hotel or airport for onward journey.
