5 days Southeastern plains and Ndutu wildebeest Migration
Africa’s race for life.
Ndutu plains stretch from the western side of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the southeast Serengeti National Park. It is a vast open expanse and hosts all familiar Serengeti animals: from a lion, eland, and wildebeest, to skittish bat-eared foxes and ostrich.
The journey for the key players in the Great Migration, the roughly two million wildebeest, starts in the south of the Serengeti, with the birth of half a million calves between January and March. A favorite season for many of the seasoned Serengeti guides: the air during these months is full of new life and action.
