Overview
Your 6 days Tanzania lodge safari, will offers you a visitation to the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. The famous and largest unbroken caldera in the world! Also, you will be visiting other parks such as Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park as well as Lake Manyara National Park. Get your camera ready to capture the scenery of Tanzania’s parks.
DAY 1: ARUSHA– LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
You will be picked up by your safari driver from your accommodation in Arusha and driven to Lake Manyara National Park.
You will be arriving at lunch time so your safari driver will take you straight to the lodge for lunch and rest a bit. After lunch you will go for afternoon game drive inside the park. The park is famous for having tree-climbing lion as well as large number of different bird species. You will be able to spot lion, leopard, hyena, elephant, African cape buffalo, warthog, zebra, wildebeest etc.
After full day game drive, you will be driven to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight. Your safari driver will brief you about the next day activities.
DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast, you will be driven to towards the Serengeti National Park for a game viewing, you will be passing through the scenery highland of Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park, you will be heading to the central area where you will have lunch and then continue with the program. After enjoying your lunch, you will proceed with the game drive till late afternoon and your safari driver will transfer you to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – FULL GAME DRIVE
On this day you will be proceeding to explore the beauty of Serengeti National Park as you will be able to spot several wild animals such as lion, leopard, black rhino, elephant, zebra, gazelle, wildebeest, African cape buffalo.
The Serengeti National Park its also famous for the greatest show which happen annually which is wildebeest migration as well as during calving season whereby approximately of more than 8000 calves are born in the region of Ndutu.
DAY 4: SERENGETI PLAINS – NGORONGORO CRATER
On this day you will have an opportunity to pass by at Olduvai Gorge Museum, where Dr. Leakey and his wife discovered the skull fossil of an ancestor of apes and humans.
The Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania is one of the most important paleoanthropological localities in the world; the many sites exposed by the gorge have proven invaluable in furthering understanding of early human evolution.
Moreover, you will also pass by to Maasai Boma, where you will be learning about the culture of Maasai tribe and their daily activities. After visitation from those activities, you will be driven to lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After morning breakfast, you will be driven down to the crater floor where you will able to spot the all big five wild animals such as lion, leopard, elephant, African cape buffalo and the black rhino. Also, there are other animals such as hippo, wildebeest, gazelle, warthog, cheetah etc. You will have your lunch inside the park in a picnic area while enjoying the surrounding nature and the beauty of Ngorongoro landscape. After a game viewing you be heading to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – ARUSHA
You will enjoy your morning breakfast at the lodge, then driven inside the park for a game drive and sightings the huge number of baobab trees and herd of elephants this is why in other names Tarangire called the home of giants. You will be also spot troop of baboons, leopard, giraffe, zebra, gazelle, cheetah, hyena, warthog etc.
After game drive you will be driven back to Arusha for departure or overnight as this will be your end of 6 days Tanzania lodge safari.
